© by Shubham Badal

I spoke to Shubham Badal, founder and CEO of CybrHome. CybrHome is among the largest web curation platforms on the web. With CybrHome Shubham’s mission is to enable the discovery of extremely useful and interesting websites so that people can learn and share these with their friends and colleagues.

Have you always had the entrepreneurial spirit or were you somehow inspired to start your venture to solve problems you believe deserved a solution?

I’ve always liked building things. I’ve wanted to build a company ever since I was a teenager. My first inspiration was Bill Gates and Microsoft. I got to know about him when I got my first PC in third grade.

Tell us more about CybrHome.

CybrHome is a web curation platform that helps people explore the internet. CybrHome helps people find the best of the web (sites, apps, products, blogs) for work, career, fun and more. CybrHome is the world’s best place to find new sites for every purpose.

Other than your current venture, what are some of the other entrepreneurial challenges you would want to tackle in future?

Anything in the discovery space is interesting to me.

Are there any entrepreneurs that you have always looked up to? If yes, please name a few of your favourites.

Bill Gates has been my favourite always. Other than him, I love almost every Internet Entrepreneur.

Can you share a personal experience with our readers that has had a profound impact on your life and how has it helped you become a better entrepreneur and a better person?

There is no one such experience but many. Most people have always seen and treated me like an underdog. But in the end, sometimes I do manage to be the dark horse. And doing this is always fun.

What is the long-term vision with CybrHome?

At CybrHome we’re on a mission to organize the web. We want to ensure that people know all the sites (or apps/blogs) they need. We believe this will bridge the information gap in newer ways.

Do you have a message for your fellow entrepreneurs from around the world who might be reading this?

Doesn’t matter what kind of business you’re running, the internet today can take you places and be a contributor in growth. You just have to explore the web and leverage it using the right tools and opportunities. And of course you always have to enable you to do this easily. To start with, I’ve curated 50 must-know tools for entrepreneurs at and you should explore them. Thanks.
