Tell me about yourself and what you do?

I’m a fun loving, thrill seeking Aussie Bucketeer whom loves to challenge myself! I wrote my bucket list in bed one day while recovering from my car accident. I was in a wheelchair for several years. I saw a plane fly past my window and had an epiphany… I wanted to learn to fly, to be a pilot! So as soon as I was able to, I took flying lessons.

I write books and courses to help others live their dream life! Sounds such a cliche but it drives me so much. I’m really passionate about seeing others succeed in life! I love helping people believe in themselves, develop confidence, reach their potential and have fun along the way.

I lead an online Facebook group for women and girls. It’s called “I Am Love ~ Global Sisters United!” It is philanthropic in nature and any woman or girl is very welcome to join! The purpose is to connect, inspire, educate and empower women and girls around the world.

What’s a story / event that has shaped you into who you are today and your proudest achievement?

I have lots of significant moments in my life that have shaped me as a person. Putting myself in front of oncoming traffic to save a woman from killing herself reminded me how fleeting life really is. Deciding I wanted to learn to fly and facing my huge fear of heights was so rewarding. My time in the wheelchair and the way my life changed so much has made me very grateful to gain my independence again and determined to never take anything for granted. Experiencing my parents’ death and the aftermath of love and kindness from so many people was overwhelming. Battling chronic pain for over a decade and PTSD developed my grit. Witnessing my niece’s birth and catching her when she was born was a miracle. Working with others to achieve their dreams is humbling and extremely motivating. I have many beautiful testimonials sharing how I have inspired and helped others transform their lives by pursuing what brings them joy and happiness. Helping personally fund the building of a Medical Centre in Zambia (the only one in the town of Chibolya) where we have had up to 500 patients a day is a life mission of mine.

Definitive personality trait: Kindness and grit!

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?

Yes I do! I was about 4-5 years old and it was about me swimming in the ocean with sharks. Not surprisingly, I’m an avid diver and love sharks (although I used to be terrified!) I found my book recently. It was a tiny little one that I made with text and illustrations.

Who are your favorite authors?

My favorite authors are Kahlil Gibran & Mitch Albom for inspiration and JR. Ward for fantasy.

How did you break into publishing?

I found the best in the business. A woman who knows her craft leverages her strengths, is a brilliant strategist and an optimistic opportunist. And most importantly gives more value which exceeds my expectations!

Where does your passion come from?

I’ve always had it! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading books and creative writing from a very young age. I often imagined I was an author. It’s just something I always knew I would do.

What do you spend most of your time doing?

I spend most of my time thinking of how I can best use my strengths and talents that God had gifted me with, to help others, make a difference in people’s lives, inspire them to “Dream Dare Do!” And ultimately to change the world for the better. I love ideas and innovation, I’m driven by them, I get so excited by growth, progress, opportunity, and transformation.
